In the past 2020, Thailand and the rest of the world encountered an unpredictable Coronavirus 2019 or COVID-19, causing difficulty in living and business operations amid the global economic volatility. The incident affects the safety and lives of everyone at large. I would like to express my concern for those directly and indirectly affected by this virus outbreak.

Thai Nippon Rubber Industry Public Company Limited ("The Company") continues to operate its business stably and remains committed to generating continuous growth in operating results. The company is aiming to achieve the goals under good governance and environment.

From the very beginning, the company has grown with participation in social development and education. The company is determined to be a medium in educating, building understanding, and positive attitudes about health care by using a condom that expresses responsible sex to prevent sexual contagious disease and unwanted pregnancy, leading to many other problems. Condoms, therefore, is a solution as long as humans continue to have sex."

From the 2019 statistics from the Department of Disease Control, the Ministry of Public Health found youth aged 15-24 years suffering from 5 sexually transmitted diseases, namely gonorrhea, syphilis, chlamydia, chancre, and venereal illness of glands and lymphatic vessels, up to 125 per 100,000 population. In more detail, gonorrhea was up to 70 per 100,000 population, and syphilis was up to 39 per 100,000 population.
Although in the downward trend, the birth rate of adolescent mothers in Thailand is still high compared to countries with similar development levels. The birth rate among adolescent girls aged 15–19 years was 35 per 1,000. Therefore, the Department of Disease Control has developed a draft condoms strategy 2020-2030 under the National Strategy on ending AIDS problems between 2017-2030 through 5 strategies, namely:

  1. Promoting the use of condoms as a standard routine.
  2. Promoting public access to condoms.
  3. Development of condom quality management and control system.
  4. Policy development and strengthening mechanisms to drive the condom strategy.
  5. Controlling, directing, monitoring, and evaluating the condom strategy The company would like to take part in driving the country's strategy to achieve its goals.
