TNR signs an MOU with Maejo University to enter the hemp business
Mr. Amorn Dararattanaroj (3rd from left), Chief Executive Officer of Thai Nippon Rubber Industry Public Company Limited (TNR), signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Associate Professor Dr. Weerapol Thongma (4th from left), the Director of Maejo University. TNR will support the testing center project research and development of the hemp industry, covering upstream, midstream, and downstream from cultivation. TNR will establish a factory to extract and develop hemp-containing products. TNR will legally import the hemp species from abroad to test its factors and conditions suitable for cultivation in the country. Then, TNR will obtain the essential substances with the correct quantity and quality level required by the extraction factory. TNR agreed to jointly exchange knowledge, experiences, training, and seminars on various hemp products. The management team and project leader witnessed the event at the University Council Meeting Room University office building, 5th floor, Maejo University.
